Ruth Rostrup
I was born in Sheffield, the UK’s steel city, but these days I live in Norway with my husband, our two kids, and two cats who think they run the place. I studied psychology before accidentally selling my soul to the corporate tech world, where I spent more than a decade writing words for people who weren’t always allowed to be people.
Now I've committed my life to the 'Mor(e)' series of books. They’re stitched from that same mix of empathy and defiance. Pages that hold what we usually leave unsaid.

For anyone who has ever thought: surely there must be more than this.
The 'Mor(e) than' books series is a double-edged mirror:
one side the ache, the other the answer.

Mor(e) than Work
The Mor(e) series is poetry for people who don’t yet know they like poetry. Words you can actually feel, carry, argue with, return to.
Each book is a deep dive into a single part of our lives.
Split in two halves: the raw stories on the left, the words we needed on the right.
Together, they hold devastation and balm, ache and hope — bound by a spine that refuses to break.
